AFTERCARE
Your tattoo is an open wound and will usually heal within 4–6 weeks.
Immediately after your tattoo, we carefully clean the area. We do not apply plastic wrap or Second Skin. We believe fine line tattoos heal best when kept clean, dry and able to breathe naturally.
During healing

Keep your tattoo clean and dry.

Wash gently once or twice a day with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap.

Pat dry with a clean towel.

Avoid scratching or picking the tattoo.

Avoid direct sunlight, swimming pools, chlorine, hot tubs and saunas until fully healed.

Wear clean, loose-fitting clothing.
Avoid applying creams while the tattoo is still an open wound. Once the skin has closed and the tattoo feels dry or tight, you may apply a very thin layer of a fragrance-free moisturiser or tattoo aftercare cream (such as Bepanthen) if needed. Less is more.
Every skin heals differently. Even with proper tattooing and aftercare, fine line tattoos may heal lighter or slightly uneven depending on your skin, placement and healing process. If needed, a touch-up can be discussed at our Amsterdam studio.
If you experience severe redness, excessive swelling, pus, fever or increasing pain, please contact your doctor.

By getting tattooed, you confirm that you have read and understood our consent and aftercare information, are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and have provided accurate information.
You understand the risks of tattooing and accept that healing results may vary. The tattoo is performed according to professional hygiene standards and EN 17169.
You consent to the necessary physical contact during the procedure and agree that photos of your tattoo may be used for marketing purposes.
TOUCH-UPS & REFUNDS
Touch-ups can be discussed at our Amsterdam studio.
If you are travelling or visiting as a tourist, please understand that returning for a touch-up may not be possible and remains your own responsibility.
